1-2-1 at home tuition can be a solution if it’s difficult for you, as a parent , to get out of your house in the evening or over the weekend.
If you do decide to take this option then you should make sure that you are employing a fully qualified, experienced teacher, with a DBS check. Ask for proof of this, as well as proof of insurance. Lessons should take place in a private room with no distractions. Discuss the tutors plan for your child & make time for feedback at the end of the lesson. There should be some homework. Get references from other parents if you are unsure.
